The process that will be used to develop the new code will center on policy at public meetings and on edits and technical revisions using a technical committee and comments submitted via this web site. That way, City residents and business owners will focus on "big picture" issues that are important to the City, and will be able to do so without getting deeply involved with technical jargon. That means that the process will be accessible to everyone who is interested in the future of the City.

Join the Process

All meetings of the Code Advisory Committee ("CAC") are open to the public. The Technical Committee, which works on technical issues of code implementation, will be assembled on an ad-hoc basis. Each committee will have 15 meetings in 2010. Public meetings will also be held throughout the process.
