Wednesday January 25, 2012. The City and its consultant for the Land Use and Development Code Rewrite will be hosting a public meeting on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). The meeting will be at the Durango Community Recreation Center, Peaks Room, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

A joint City Council / Planning Commission Study Session was held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in City Council Chambers. Topics for discussion included an introduction to the proposed new zone districts, use / zone matrices, and accessory dwelling units.
A Public Workshop on Zone Districts was held on Monday, December 13, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the City Council Chambers. The workshop provided an introduction to the proposed new zone districts.
The Code Advisory Committee met on Monday, December 13, 2010, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM in Program Room #3 at the Library. The topics for discussion were the proposed zone districts; use / zone matrices; and accessory dwelling units.

The September 9, 2010 CAC meeting was held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Eolus and Sunlight Rooms of the Durango Recreation Center. The topic was complete streets and "clean up" items.
The September 8, 2010 CAC meeting was held from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Eolus and Sunlight Rooms at the Durango Recreation Center. The discussion included application review, development approval, and enforcement procedures.

The Code Advisory Committee met on July 21 and 22, 2010, to discuss natural resource stewardship standards (e.g., open space, park dedications, hillsides, ridge lines, skylines, wildlife, etc.). The July 21 meeting was held at the Durango Community Recreation Center from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The July 22 meeting was held in the same location from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
A Public Workshop on Sustainability and Alternative Energy was held on July 21, 2010, at the Durango Community Recreation Center, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The Code Advisory Committee met on May 26 and 27, 2010 to continue its discussion of sustainable development standards. The May 26 meeting was held from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The May 27 meeting was held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Both meetings were held at the Durango Community Recreation Center, Eolus Room.
A public workshop on accessory dwelling units was held on May 26, 2010 at the Durango Community Recreation Center, Eolus and Sunlight Rooms, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Keypad polling was used to get input from City residents about accessory dwelling units in their neighborhoods.
The Code Advisory Committee met on April 15, 2010, to discuss accessory dwelling units and strategies for offsetting the costs of compliance with the inclusionary housing ordinance. The meeting was held at the Durango Community Recreation Center, Eolus Room, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
